Baking and Farming 

My life in Powell River has brought some changes from full time dog training, and two of those include farming and bread making. While I still make time regularly for puppy lessons and training walks, I am also a part of the community in other ways, most of which involve delicious things!

Farm Life 

For two seasons now I have been an integral part of the team at Terra Nostra Farm. This certified organic farm grows an incredible variety of vegetables and fruit for our community and provides that through local grocery stores, a farm store, the farmers market and the Community Supported Agriculture program. This program brings fresh organic produce to your home each week.

You may see me at the farm or working our table at the Farmers market on Sundays (in season).

Come check out the farm at 3244 Byron Road. The farm store is open Monday-Saturday 10-5.

Sourdough

Without realizing it, I became a baker of sourdough bread. Sourdough that apparently is the best many have had! I make about 20-24 loaves a week and while many of these are taken to the Terra Nostra Farm store, I have some clients that pick up warm bread from my home in Westview.

I have also made sourdough loaves with jalapeno & cheddar, garlic & rosemary and I even made a chocolate & raspberry loaf! I am open to trying new things and

I will make special orders.
